July 3 –
Join us for some old time folk and bluegrass tunes with John Potocnik, Dave Raphaelson and Carol Mandigo as "Banshee". And visit the Fleischmanns Market on Main including baked goods, local produce, local crafts, cheese, syrup and more.
July 10 -
Craft artisan and watercolorist Maryann Stow will be demonstrating and presenting a children’s workshop with some unique painting techniques. Stow will be showing the versatility of clapboard (a thin layer of clay on mason board), which lends itself to painting, lifting, collaging and scratching. There will be materials available for children to create their own clay board creation to take home!
July 17 –
Jill Cline will create traditional Japanese Windsock kites at the Fleischmanns Market on Main. She started her career in the 1980’s in NYC as a jewelry and accessory designer and is now the co- founder/director of the Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild.
July 24 -
Performers Patti Dell and Kent Brown will sing the songs you love to hear. Patti Dell is a versatile performer with a career that has taken her throughout the United States performing in concert, recital, opera and musical theater. Kent Brown is a native Midwesterner who has been an organist since the age of 12, teaches piano privately and has frequent concerts in the area as pianist, organist and cabaret performer.
July 31 –
Catskill artist Lisa Valkovich will entertain the children with her stamping art so bring the kids for this fun activity. Also join Tabitha Gilmore-Barnes for a great cooking demonstration using local foods and free recipes for all.
August 7 -
Fleischmanns’ Market on Main will feature Laura Monk and High Cotton Sunday, August 7 at 11:30 am. Mixing rock, soul, Celtic, and country, High Cotton weaves a wonderfully diverse yet wholesome blend of country magic with personality, talent and delivers a full complement of entertainment with Americana and folk-country. Laura Monk’s vocals have the sincerity of Karen Carpenter and the depth of Trisha Yearwood.
Featured on Fox TV, Good Morning Atlanta and CBS in conjunction with their tour of the south east coast, High Cotton comes to Fleischmanns, NY for a free concert with Laura Monk, John Monk, PJ Engeman and Dan Foster.
